Manitoba is a Canadian province bordered by Ontario to the east and Saskatchewan to the west. It has mild summers and cold winters. Winnipeg has an average temperature of 68°F (20°C) and the coldest is January at 4°F (-16°C).  The climate is dry and cold with 527 Cooling Degree Days in 2017.
